Eagles Host FIFTH Annual Children’s Charity Fundraiser
The Eye Institute’s fifth annual “Looking Out for Kids” charity fundraiser was held Saturday, November 5 at the Hafter Student Center on the campus of Salus University. Philadelphia Eagles’ Moise Fokou and Joselio Hanson co-hosted the night’s festivities, which raised money to help provide eyeglasses and vision care services to underinsured and uninsured children in Philadelphia and its surrounding communities. With over 230 guests in attendance, the event was a great success. The dimly lit Bennett Lounge set the scene for the hour-long VIP reception where attendees sipped on cocktails and enjoyed gourmet hors-doeuvres. The highlight of the general reception was the packed silent auction table where attendees made bids on autographed memorabilia, theatre and overnight packages, baskets of cheer and more. Throughout the night, the Eagles autographed photos, mingled with guests and were eager to pose for photos.
