About Dr. Snyder:

Dr. Snyder grew up in Salem, Oregon and received a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Eastern Mennonite University in Harrisonburg, Virginia. He attended the Pennsylvania College of Optometry and received his Doctor of Optometry degree in 2007.  In 2008, he completed a one-year post-graduate residency at The Eye Institute.

His clinical experience and interests includes adult primary eye care and the diagnosis and management of the glaucomas and ocular disease. Dr. Snyder is a member of the Contact Lens and Cornea section of the American Academy of Optometry as well as a member in good standing of the Pennsylvania Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association.

Dr. Snyder has been a part of The Eye Institute’s professional staff since August of 2008. His primary clinical responsibility is in providing primary eye care in The Eye Institute (Oak Lane) and The Eye Institute’s satellite office in Mt. Airy, a northwest neighborhood in Philadelphia. 4/2009
