About Dr. Shust:

Dr. Shust completed his undergraduate education at Syracuse University in 1985. He then received his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 1989 after which he completed a one-year residency in Primary Care Optometry at The Eye Institute. 

Dr. Shust supervises interns providing patient care in the Adult Primary Care Service of The Eye Institute as well as its satellite locations. He also serves as an educator to optometric students in clinical laboratory courses at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry.

Dr. Shust has authored several professional publications and lectured at various continuing education programs. 5/2008
