
Dr. Oleszewski has been a member of The Eye Institute’s professional staff for nearly 30 years. After attending Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois as a biology major, Dr. Oleszewski received her Doctor of Optometry degree in 1976 from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. She completed residency training at The Eye Institute in 1978, and received a master’s degree from Temple University the same year.
Dr. Oleszewski has served in many roles at The Eye Institute, and in 2005, she assumed the position of Vice-President for Patient Care Services at The Eye Institute, the senior administrator for the clinical practice of the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. Although her administrative responsibilities are significant, she does find time to maintain a limited clinical practice within The Eye Institute. Dr. Oleszewski is extremely proud of the excellent tradition in patient care The Eye Institute has provided to the communities it serves.
Dr. Oleszewski is a Fellow in the American Academy of Optometry and a member of the Vision Care section of the American Public Health Association. Additionally, she is a member in good standing of the Pennsylvania Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association. She has authored numerous referred journal publications and textbook chapters and has lectured extensively, both domestically and internationally.2/2009
