About Dr. Kaiser:

Dr. Kaiser has been a member of The Eye Institute’s professional staff for nearly 20 years.  She attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania where she earned a bachelor of science degree in biology.  She entered the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 1985 and received her Doctor of Optometry in 1989.  After completing a one year residency at The Eye Institute, she joined the teaching faculty at The Eye Institute.

Dr. Kaiser has many  responsibilities at The Eye Institute and in the pre-clinical didactic curriculum at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry.  In addition to caring for patients in the Adult Primary Care Services at The Eye Institute, she also serves as the Director of the Traineeship Program.  In this role  she oversees the clinical education of the first and second year optometry students as they prepare to assume their role as clinical provider in The Eye Institute.  

Dr. Kaiser has lectured to optometry students in the core curriculum at the College, as well as in professional continuing education courses offered to practicing eye care practitioners in the United States and abroad.     Her areas of interest include ocular disease, computer vision, and environmental vision.  She has authored numerous publications and has presented at the annual  Academy of Optometry meetings.  Dr. Kaiser is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry.
