About Dr. Holt:

Dr. Holt has been a member of The Eye Institute’s professional staff for 3 years. Her primary clinical responsibility is at The Eye Institute at Mt. Airy. The Mt. Airy practice is located on Germantown Avenue in the heart of the Mt Airy section of Philadelphia. Dr. Hole enjoys the ‘neighborhood’ environment and has rapidly become known as the neighborhood eye doctor.

Dr. Holt is a graduate of the United States Air Force Academy and received her Masters Degree in Applied Physics and Computer Science at Christopher Newport University in Virginia. She attended the Pennsylvania College of Optometry and received her Doctor of Optometry degree in 2004. In 2005 she completed a one year post-graduate residency at The Eye Institute.

Dr. Holt is a candidate for fellowship in the American Academy of Optometry and a member of the Contact Lens and Cornea section of the Academy. Additionally, she is a member in good standing of the Pennsylvania Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association. She is also an optometrist in the US Air Force Reserves and recently attended the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology for Ophthalmologists course
