
Dr. Hartman grew up in Spain’s Balearic Islands and earned a degree in Optometry from the Polytechnic University of Barcelona, Spain in 1984. In 1995, he completed a Master in Clinical Optometry from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry (now Salus University). In 2007, he earned his Doctor of Optometry degree, followed by a one-year residency at The Eye Institute, the clinical practice of the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University.
Dr. Hartman provides care in the primary and pediatric services of The Eye Institute. He also serves as a clinical educator in the Center for International Studies at Salus University.
Dr. Hartman is a Fellow of the International Association of Contact Lens and a member in good standing of the American Academy of Optometry, American Optometric Association and the Pennsylvania Optometric Association.
Dr. Hartman speaks Spanish, Portuguese, French and Catalan.
