About Dr. Chigbu:

Dr. Chigbu received his Doctor of Optometry degree in 1992 from Abia State University in Nigeria, Africa. From 1999 to 2003, he worked as an adjunct clinical faculty at the Optometry Clinic of the City University in London, England. He received a Master of Science degree with distinction from City University, London the following year.

Prior to moving to the United States to continue his post-graduate training at The Eye Institute of the Pennsylvania College of Optometry, he worked in a private practice in the United Kingdom. With clinical faculty status, Dr. Chigbu currently is the lead optometric physician at The Eye Institute at Strawberry Mansion.

Dr. Chigbu is a Fellow of the College of Optometrists (U.K.), the American Academy of Optometry and the British Contact Lens Association. He is the author of a number of articles in professional journals.
