About  Dr. Bailey:

Dr. Bailey received a bachelor of science degree in biology from Bucknell University in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, in 1991.  She earned her Doctor of Optometry degree at the New England College of Optometry in 1995, where she was the class valedictorian. She completed residency training in Pediatrics and Binocular Vision at The Eye Institute in 1996.   Dr. Bailey has been a member of The Eye Institute’s professional since 1995.  Currently Dr. Bailey examines patients of all ages with binocular vision disorders, accommodative dysfunctions, and learning related vision disorders at The Eye Institute’s pediatric service, as well as in her private practices.

In addition to her clinical practice in the pediatric service in The Eye Institute, Dr. Bailey does laboratory and classroom teaching in the didactic curriculum at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry.  Her areas of expertise include, but are not limited to, binocular vision, strabismus, vision therapy, and vision and learning.  She has also lectured on these topics to practitioners in professional continuing education courses

Dr. Bailey is a Fellow in the American Academy of Optometry and an associate of the College of Optometrists in Vision Development.   She is married with two children.
